Fathers Day is coming up 30 Aug 2021
Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday, 5th September. It could be tough for many people in lockdown who cannot celebrate this special day with their Dad (or special father figure). I know it is not the same as being there, but you could show the Dad in your life how much you care by giving him a voucher for an amazing relaxation, remedial or sports massage. He will be able to book this treat in as soon as we are back in Level 2.
Online gift vouchers are available on our website: click the “Buy a Gift voucher” button.
Our clinic is closed until further notice. 17 Aug 2021
New Zealand is in Alert Level 4.
This means that the Serenity clinic will be closed until Alert Level 2. Online bookings will not be able to be made over this time either. We will continue to update you as soon as we have more information from the government.
In the meantime, be kind, be safe and take care of yourself.
Introductory offer: EIT massage student, Lucretia, starting at Serenity soon, offering Relaxation massage 4 Aug 2021
At Serenity we are keen to support the development of the most promising massage students at EIT, who have demonstrated that they meet the standards required by Serenity. We have decided to give them the opportunity to hone their skills by working in a real-world massage therapy clinic, at Serenity Massage Therapy.
Once students have reached a certain level of competency, they are given an opportunity to work with the public. They have been having regular clinics at EIT to practice their skills.
Lucretia, a student currently studying for the Wellness and Relaxation Massage Diploma at EIT, will be starting with us on a part-time basis from Friday 13th August. She will be working most Fridays to begin with, then will add in Saturdays.
We will be offering her treatments at a reduced rate as she is not fully trained yet. She will only be offering relaxation massage at this stage.
During the massage clients will be given complete privacy and the expectation is that all routines practiced at Serenity will be maintained. Sue, the owner, will be available for ongoing mentoring before and after sessions to help the student, if needed.
Lucretia is a very conscientious, confident, caring young woman who is very keen to apply her massage skills and connect with people in a caring and helpful way.
So, if you are looking to relax and treat yourself, then this massage will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Relaxation massage helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system which allows you to de-stress and ‘chill’. It improves circulation and can help reduce pain while paving the way to improve your overall health and well-being.
